Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bible WordQuest ("Bible WordQuest" or the "App").

Bible WordQuest is operated by Kingdom Games ("Kingdom Games", "we", "us", or "our").

Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy.

If you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian should review these Terms with you where required by applicable law.

1. Bible WordQuest

Bible WordQuest is a Bible-themed word, puzzle, progression, and restoration game.

Features may include:

• Bible Trivia
• Word Search
• Word Scramble
• Guess the Word
• Verse Unlock
• Scramble Rush
• Landmark restoration
• Player levels and experience
• Coins, hearts, Gifts, and other virtual resources
• Achievements and badges
• Challenges
• Daily rewards
• Seasons
• Leaderboards
• Referrals
• Advertising
• Optional in-app purchases

Features may be changed, expanded, balanced, replaced, or discontinued as Bible WordQuest develops.

2. All-Ages Experience

Bible WordQuest is designed for a broad audience, including families and younger players.

The core game can be played without creating an account.

Different privacy, account, leaderboard, and advertising settings may apply depending on the player's age range.

An App Store or Google Play age/content rating describes the suitability of the App's content. It does not necessarily mean every online feature is available to every age group.

3. Minors and Parental Involvement

If you are below the age at which you can legally agree to these Terms on your own, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you where required by law.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to:

• Supervise younger users
• Review privacy settings
• Use Apple or Google parental controls
• Enable purchase approval where appropriate
• Review any request to create a parent-managed child profile

Nothing in these Terms removes rights given to children, parents, guardians, or consumers by mandatory law.

4. Age Information

Bible WordQuest may ask players to select an age range.

We generally do not require a complete date of birth.

You must not intentionally give false age information to bypass privacy or child-safety protections.

Until the App has determined the appropriate age/privacy category, it may apply its more restrictive privacy configuration.

5. Guest Play

You can access the core Bible WordQuest gameplay experience without creating an account.

Guest progress is primarily stored on the device.

Guest progress may be lost if you:

• Uninstall Bible WordQuest
• Clear its application data
• Lose your device
• Reset your device
• Move to another device without an available transfer method

Because we may not have a cloud copy of guest progress, we may be unable to restore lost guest progress.

Creating an account is not required merely to access ordinary gameplay.

6. Parent-Managed Child Profiles

Where available, younger players may request a parent-managed child profile to access permitted online features such as cloud backup.

A child cannot complete this process alone. A parent or legal guardian must complete the required notice, consent, and verification process. The parent or guardian becomes responsible for managing the online child profile.

We may require the parent or guardian to verify that they are an adult before the child profile is activated.

We may use a specialist third-party parental-consent or age-assurance provider.

A parent-managed child profile may use:

• A generated player identifier
• A generated or approved alias
• A built-in avatar
• Limited gameplay information

It does not require a child's personal email address for normal use.

A parent may withdraw consent or request deletion of the child's online profile as described in the Privacy Policy. If consent is withdrawn, cloud-connected child features may stop working. The child may still be able to continue playing locally as a guest.

7. Teen Accounts

Eligible older teenagers may be offered an optional account.

Teen accounts may receive stricter defaults than adult accounts.

Certain features may be disabled, pseudonymous, parental-controlled, or opt-in depending on age and jurisdiction.

Where applicable law requires parental permission for a particular feature, transaction, or processing activity, that permission is required.

8. Adult Accounts

Eligible adult players may choose to create an account.

If you create an account:

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep login credentials reasonably secure
• Do not knowingly allow unauthorized use
• Do not sell or transfer your account
• Do not impersonate another person
• Notify us if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised

You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Account Deletion

Eligible users may request account deletion from the account settings inside Bible WordQuest.

We also provide an external method of requesting account deletion.

Parents or guardians may request deletion of a parent-managed child profile.

Deletion removes active Bible WordQuest account information that we are not legally required to retain. Provider backups, security records, purchase records, or other limited information may remain temporarily where permitted or required, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting a Bible WordQuest account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google.

10. Player Names and Avatars

Where custom display names are permitted, they must not:

• Disclose personal contact information
• Contain a telephone number or email address
• Contain a home address
• Advertise a social-media account
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Contain hate speech or harassment
• Contain obscene or sexually explicit material
• Advertise unrelated products or services
• Infringe another person's rights
• Be used to evade moderation or safety systems

We may reset, hide, or change a display name that violates these rules.

Younger players may be limited to generated aliases rather than unrestricted custom text.

11. Leaderboards

Leaderboard participation is optional where available.

Creating an account does not automatically require public leaderboard participation.

If you participate, limited information such as your:

• Display name or generated alias
• Avatar
• Score
• Rank
• Season result

may be visible to other Bible WordQuest players.

Children's or teenagers' leaderboard access may be disabled, restricted, pseudonymous, or require parental approval.

You may leave an eligible leaderboard without deleting your complete Bible WordQuest account.

We may remove or correct leaderboard records where there is reasonable evidence of:

• Cheating
• Automation
• Score manipulation
• Exploit abuse
• Fraudulent referrals
• Corrupted data
• Significant technical error

12. Licence

Subject to these Terms and applicable store rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Bible WordQuest for lawful personal entertainment and educational use.

This licence does not transfer ownership of Bible WordQuest or any of our intellectual property to you.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Use Bible WordQuest unlawfully
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
• Access another player's account without permission
• Alter or falsify scores
• Manipulate virtual currency or inventory
• Manipulate heart timers or rewards
• Falsify purchase information
• Exploit security vulnerabilities
• Use bots or automation to gain an unfair advantage
• Create fraudulent accounts
• Manipulate referral systems
• Interfere with advertising or purchase verification
• Distribute unauthorized modified copies of the App
• Bypass reasonable age or safety controls
• Attempt to extract another user's private information
• Use Bible WordQuest in a way that materially interferes with other players or the service

Where permitted by law, we may correct fraudulent progress, remove illegitimate rewards, suspend leaderboard access, or restrict an account reasonably believed to be involved in abuse.

14. Virtual Items

Bible WordQuest may include virtual items such as:

• Coins
• Hearts
• Gifts
• Boosters
• Restoration resources
• Badges
• Bundles
• Other digital game benefits

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, virtual items:

• Exist only inside Bible WordQuest
• Have no real-world cash value
• Are not currency or legal tender
• Cannot be redeemed for money
• Cannot be sold outside the App
• Cannot be transferred between users unless we specifically provide such functionality
• Represent a limited right to use digital game content rather than ownership of physical property

We may rebalance earn rates, costs, reward quantities, or gameplay effects as the game evolves.

Where a change materially affects a paid entitlement, we will provide any remedy required by applicable consumer law.

15. Purchases

Bible WordQuest may offer optional in-app purchases.

The purchase screen will display the applicable product, price, contents, and other material information before purchase.

Transactions are processed by Apple or Google. We do not directly process your full payment-card information.

Purchases by minors must have whatever parent, guardian, device, account, or store authorization is required. Parents should use Apple and Google purchase-approval tools on devices used by children.

Bible WordQuest may also use an age-appropriate parental gate before permitting younger players to access certain commercial areas.

16. Consumable and Permanent Entitlements

Some purchases may be consumable. Examples include virtual currency or resources that are used during gameplay.

Other purchases may provide persistent or non-consumable entitlements.

Whether a product is consumable, permanent, time-limited, or recurring will be clearly presented before purchase.

Consumable resources that have already been spent generally cannot be restored simply because the App is reinstalled.

Eligible non-consumable purchases may be restorable through Apple or Google.

17. Subscriptions

If Bible WordQuest offers an auto-renewing subscription, its purchase screen will show:

• Price
• Billing interval
• Benefits
• Renewal terms
• Applicable trial or introductory terms

Subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple or Google.

A subscription continues until cancelled according to the applicable store's rules.

Deleting a Bible WordQuest account does not necessarily cancel a store-managed subscription. You should manage or cancel the subscription through the store account used to purchase it.

We intentionally do not hard-code particular subscription names or prices into these Terms because the products available in Bible WordQuest may change.

18. Refunds and Consumer Rights

Purchases are processed through Apple or Google and refund requests may be handled through the applicable store.

Nothing in these Terms removes any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, warranty, or other consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

Where local consumer law gives you stronger rights than these Terms, that law applies.

19. Advertising

Bible WordQuest may display advertisements.

Some advertisements may be rewarded advertisements. A rewarded advertisement allows you to voluntarily view an advertisement in exchange for a clearly identified optional game reward.

We configure advertising according to applicable child-safety, privacy, and platform requirements.

Children are not intentionally served behavioral or personalized advertising.

Our advertising practices are described more fully in the Privacy Policy.

20. Referrals

Eligible players may receive referral codes or referral links.

Referral rewards must be earned legitimately.

You must not use:

• Fake accounts
• Automated registrations
• Fraudulent installations
• Prohibited self-referrals
• Bots
• Device manipulation
• Other deceptive activity

to obtain referral rewards.

We may withhold or reverse rewards reasonably determined to have resulted from fraud or abuse.

Referral features may be unavailable or restricted on child profiles.

21. Cloud Saving

Eligible accounts and parent-managed child profiles may use cloud backup.

Cloud saving is provided as a convenience and recovery feature.

Synchronization may occur at checkpoints rather than after every individual action. We do not guarantee that every gameplay action will immediately reach our servers.

A connection failure, device failure, software error, server interruption, or offline session may result in some recent progress not being synchronized.

Nothing in this section removes liability that mandatory consumer law does not permit us to exclude.

22. Availability

Bible WordQuest contains features that may depend on:

• Internet connectivity
• Firebase
• Apple
• Google
• Unity
• Parental-consent providers
• Advertising providers
• Other third-party infrastructure

Those services may occasionally be unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to every online feature.

Where possible, ordinary offline gameplay may continue independently of online services.

23. Changes to Bible WordQuest

Bible WordQuest will evolve. We may add, modify, rebalance, replace, or discontinue:

• Game modes
• Puzzles
• Levels
• Rewards
• Virtual currencies
• Restoration systems
• Achievements
• Challenges
• Seasons
• Leaderboards
• Advertisements
• Account features
• Bundles
• Prices
• Other functionality

Where a change materially affects a paid entitlement, mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

24. Intellectual Property

Bible WordQuest's original:

• Code
• Game systems
• Artwork
• Interface
• Designs
• Audio
• Branding
• Characters
• Written content
• Other original materials

are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

Scripture translations may be public-domain works or third-party copyrighted works used under licence, permission, attribution requirements, or applicable legal allowances. Required attribution will be provided where applicable.

If you believe content in Bible WordQuest infringes a legal right, contact us.

25. Biblical and Educational Content

Bible WordQuest is a Bible-themed entertainment and learning game.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate Scripture references, questions, and answers.

Different Christian traditions and Bible translations may use different wording or interpretations.

Bible WordQuest is not a substitute for professional theological education, pastoral counselling, legal advice, medical advice, or other professional services.

26. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Bible WordQuest at any time. Eligible users may delete their account. Parents may withdraw consent for a child profile.

We may reasonably restrict an account or online feature because of:

• Serious or repeated violation of these Terms
• Fraud
• Cheating
• Security abuse
• Unlawful conduct
• Risk to other players
• Referral manipulation
• Payment fraud
• Attempts to compromise Bible WordQuest infrastructure

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary to protect users, our systems, or third parties.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

27. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bible WordQuest is provided on an "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• Every feature will always be available
• Every device will remain supported
• The App will never contain an error
• Cloud synchronization will never fail
• Third-party services will always operate without interruption

Any statutory warranties or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded remain in effect.

28. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using Bible WordQuest.

Where applicable law permits contractual limitation, our aggregate liability for claims directly arising from Bible WordQuest will not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid for Bible WordQuest products during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or
• USD $50

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including where applicable for fraud, deliberate misconduct, certain personal injury claims, or mandatory consumer protections.

Some jurisdictions do not permit particular limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, this section applies only to the extent legally permitted.

29. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Bible WordQuest handles personal information.

Parents and guardians should review the Privacy Policy before authorizing a parent-managed child profile.

30. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and the operator of Bible WordQuest identified above.

Apple and Google are not responsible for operating Bible WordQuest.

Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable rules and terms of the store through which you obtained it.

Where Apple or Google is entitled to third-party-beneficiary rights under applicable platform terms, those rights are unaffected.

31. Governing Law and Consumer Protection

Kingdom Games operates globally, and these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.

Nothing in this provision removes mandatory protections available to you under the law where you live.

Where mandatory law gives a consumer the right to bring a claim in the consumer's own jurisdiction, that right is not waived.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and we are encouraged to contact each other and make a reasonable attempt to resolve the dispute.

32. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when Bible WordQuest, store requirements, our business, or applicable law changes.

The current Terms will show a "Last Updated" date.

Where applicable law requires additional notice or agreement to a material change, we will provide it.

33. General

If one provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent legally possible.

Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not permanently waive that provision.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the principal agreement governing use of Bible WordQuest, subject to mandatory law and applicable store terms.
