Common questions

I bought coins and they did not arrive

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and once in a while the confirmation reaches the store before it reaches the game. Open the shop and tap Restore Purchases first, which re-checks your receipts and grants anything outstanding.

If the coins still do not appear, email us with the order number from your store receipt and we will sort it out.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the shop and tap Restore Purchases. That recovers non-consumable purchases such as bundles, ad removal and coin multipliers, along with any active subscription.

Consumable items like coin packs cannot be restored once they have been spent, because they were already delivered.

Purchases belong to your Apple or Google store account, not to your Bible WordQuest account, so they survive reinstalling and even deleting your in-game account.

I lost my progress, or I am on a new phone

It depends on whether you were signed in.

If you had an account, sign in on the new device with the same email or Google account and your progress comes back from our servers.

If you played as a guest, your progress lived only on the old device. We never received a copy, so there is nothing for us to restore. This is the one good reason to create an account: it is free, and it takes a few seconds.

How do hearts work?

You have five hearts. Losing a round spends one. They refill on their own over time, and the game shows you exactly when you will be full again.

You can also watch a rewarded video for a heart, or hold an Infinite Hearts subscription to skip the system entirely.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by the store, so they have to be cancelled there. We cannot cancel one for you.

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings, then your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  • Android: Google Play, then your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep the benefits until then. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

How do I delete my account?

The fastest way is in the game: Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. It happens immediately.

If you cannot get into the app, you can request deletion from this website instead.

Can I play without an account?

Yes, and that is the default. Every game mode is playable as a guest, with your progress stored on your device.

An account adds two things: a backup you can restore on another device, and a place on the leaderboard. Declining one never blocks anything else.

Is this suitable for children?

The game is rated for ages 13 and over, and the content is family friendly. There is no chat, no messaging and nothing other players can post.

The app asks your age band on first launch. If you say you are under 13, you can still play every mode as a guest, but no account is offered, nothing is sent to our servers, and you do not appear on the leaderboard.

It does show advertising and offer in-app purchases, which is why it is a general audience app rather than a children's one. Both Apple and Google let you require a password for every purchase, and we would recommend turning that on for a child's device.

Something else is broken

Email us with your device model, your operating system version, and what you were doing when it went wrong. A screenshot helps more than anything else.
